About the Tour
Stockyard Gully Caves were created by an underground river system, they are easily accessible and the tunnel on your tour is 300m long.
During the mid-late 1900’s, part of the coastal stock route, linking Champion Bay (Geraldton) and the Guildford cattle markets traversed the park. Stockmen found the area provided good feed and water for the animals, and the creek bed or gully near the inflow entrance to the cave formed a narrow holding yard for stock if they needed to camp overnight.
Tours Depart Visitors Centre, Bashford St and run for approx 4hrs.
This is a great tour to do with Mt Lesueur and make a full day experience.
